Josh from King George

It seemed at first like it wasn’t a big deal, but it became a big deal. I was a plumber, and I had sliced my finger open on a job. I called my boss and told him the bone was visible, and he advised me to go to the hospital. He said that workers’ compensation would cover it.

Well, that was my first surgery, to fix my tendon. That was successful. But when they took my cast off, my index finger would not bend. Scar tissue buildup happens sometimes, according to doctors. So I had a second surgery for them to remove scar tissue, in the hope that I could move my index finger again. It was not successful.

Because I can’t move that finger, I couldn’t get insured at my job and they wouldn’t release me for work. My career as a plumber was essentially over. My employer was just assuming I would go get fixed and come back to work, as did I. That’s when I decided to call Allen & Allen.

I definitely wasn’t planning on calling a lawyer, but the circumstances changed. It was seamless, so easy. All the information was put to me in layman’s terms. If I left a message, I would get a call back within ten minutes. That never happens anywhere else! In fact, I barely had to leave messages because Miss Candice would always pick up.

There was zero confusion on my part, and 100% competence on behalf of Allen & Allen. Jennifer and Candice were easy, pleasant, and professional.
