Jennifer from Rockville, MD

I was rear-ended, and the impact was so bad that their car was totaled, and my car was undrivable. I had back and neck injuries, plus a concussion – whiplash.

I went to the ER, and they gave me a shot and some meds. But the pain didn’t go away. In fact it got worse, and I found myself getting dizzy. I was taken to urgent care. They recommended a chiropractor, but I had to wait because my body was too inflamed. I started with a neurologist who confirmed my concussion, and started going to a physical therapist. They did dry-needling, fanning, all kinds of techniques. Some of it was excruciatingly painful.

Nothing seemed to be working, and when I spoke with coworkers, they suggested I get legal advice. I thought it was too murky. The driver was operating his girlfriend’s car, they had limited insurance. Also, I was pretty skeptical about calling a lawyer, because you see those really bad personal injury commercials on TV. Allen & Allen seemed a little different, and when I first spoke to Scott on the phone, he exceeded every expectation I had.

He was kind, knowledgeable, and he took my pain seriously. I really needed that. We had a good working relationship. He and Betsy kept me informed, always checking in, always professional. Even when he prepped me for the deposition, he was honest. He didn’t make any big promises or guarantees. He just gave me solid advice, and I leaned on him. He had the expertise. Scott, Betsy, and Allen & Allen really do care. They gave me peace of mind.
