Another day, another incredible achievement by our Workers’ Compensation Department. Attorney Elyse Stiner has been named President of the Virginia Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court!
A member of the executive committee since 2018, she has enthusiastically served this organization and looks forward to steering it into the future. The Virginia Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court is an association of lawyers, judges, and other legal professionals from all levels and backgrounds who share a passion for professional excellence. Through regular meetings, members build and strengthen professional relationships; discuss fundamental concerns about professionalism and pressing legal issues of the day; share experiences and advice; exhort the utmost passion and dedication for the law; provide mentoring opportunities; and advance the highest levels of integrity, ethics, and civility.
“The Virginia Workers’ Compensation American Inn of Court celebrated its 10-year anniversary this year, which is an incredible accomplishment,” said Stiner. “I want to thank the founders, our fearless leaders, and most importantly our members who make it all possible. I am honored to serve as the 11th president of the VA Workers’ Compensation Inn. My predecessors require no introduction, and it is truly my privilege to be named alongside them. I am lucky to call them my mentors, my colleagues, my opponents, my friends, and of course “Your Honors.” That is the very purpose of the VA Workers’ Compensation Inn. This organization has truly shaped the attorney I am today. I look forward to giving back and leading with respect, integrity, and passion, while promoting the Inn’s goals of civility, professionalism, and excellence.”
Immediate past president Lisa M. Frisina said, “I look forward to the leadership of our next President, Elyse Stiner. She is acutely aware of the purpose of the Inn, and the work it takes to serve this association and its members. She is no-nonsense, purpose-driven, and committed – qualities which will serve this Inn well.”
Her term as president commences on July 1, 2024. Please join us in extending a warm congratulations to Elyse.
